Adult Group Lesson Structure

All Ski & Ride School participants must check in at the Ski & Ride School desk in the Echo Mountain Lodge a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your designated lesson start time. Please plan to arrive at least one hour early, especially if you’re renting equipment. 

Lessons begin promptly at the scheduled start time at the Ski & Ride School meeting area. At this time, you will meet your instructor, set lesson goals and ascertain that you are in the proper group.

Next, the instructor will take you to the proper learning center and/or terrain to begin working on skiing or riding skills that will help the group meet the lesson goal. Once the lesson goal is met, you will work on skills that will help you meet the goal of the next level.

Because the skiing or riding experience often continues past the end of the lesson, the last 5 minutes or so of the lesson will include a wrap up of your lesson that includes: reminders of what to practice as you free ride, suggestions of terrain to practice on, and an explanation of what would be covered in the next lesson level.
